The Piedmont Recreation Department is looking for a part-time Event Coordinator to assist with facility rentals. The Piedmont Recreation Department hosts a variety of events at the Veterans' Memorial Building and Piedmont Community Hall. The Piedmont Community Hall is a popular Bay Area wedding venue and hosts more than 90 weddings per year.

The Part-time Event Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring that our clients have an outstanding event at our venues.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Providing tours of the venues to potential clients
  • Assisting clients with planning events and reserving the venues
  • Communicating with event vendors
  • Responding to email and phone inquiries
  • Managing social media accounts
  • Marketing

Candidate requirements:

  • At least one year of hospitality/customer service experience
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
  • Studies in Hospitality/Recreation preferred
